Dave Franklin has been an MMA fan since watching the first UFC in 1993. He began writing about MMA, focused mostly on the UFC, in May of 2007 on his MMA blog. He covered the Finals of TUF 7 and will be on location at Affliction: Banned.

Dave has trained recreationally in wrestling, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but due to an early-childhood injury that left him blind in one eye, is unable to pursue the sport competitively. MMA has become his biggest hobby and he never misses an opportunity to watch professional events. Someday, he’d love to make it to a live UFC event.

Dave lives in San Diego with his wife and three children.
