Ranking adjustments 3/29

MMA rankings adjustments for March 29. Feel free to comment, criticize or suggest.

I added +100 to Hardy and everyone below him. I don't think losing to GSP diminishes Hardy against everyone else, but it's obvious that GSP deserves to be a huge favorite against all but a handfull of fighters.

Carwin improves slightly, but his win over Mir says more about Frank's slipping out of the picture than Shane's chances of beating Brock. Carwin is a sizeable dog to Cain and a little closer to JDS.

Pellegrino moves up past Jim Miller. You cant say enough about Pellegrino, he overcame a tough spot and then showed incredible dominance over Camoes. His wrestling was every bit as good as GSP against a better grappler.

Miller was a disappointment. Everyone respects Bocek, he's a solid fighter, but I doubt he made major improvements in his game at this point in his career. Miller was lucky to get he win and I'm afraid we've seen the high point of his game.

Dropped Markham and moved Nate Diaz to 170lbs. I put Nate in around Daley, Ellenberger, Good, Kampmann, Swick. I think he'd win a few of those, lose a few.

I left Fitch the same, but added +40 to Saunders and everyone below him. Like Hardy, I don't think Ben's loss diminishes him compared to most other fighters. It just shows how good the top of the division really is.

I put Ricardo Almeida in the welterweights just below Story and Pierce, just above Hughes, Thiago and Condit. Not too confident in that placement.

Didn't adjust Palhares or Riddle.

i'll throw up some new rankings soon for the fun of it. i agree with most of the guys you have in the top 10, but i mgiht personally move some guys around.

i most concerned with the approx odds, let me know if you see something way off.

if you look at the middleweights, you'll see a boatload of guys at +340. you can debate forever about how they should be ranked, but imo they are all about the same. but im definitely open to some suggestions
