Here are some UFC Stats to consider. If you have any stats you would
like to see post them on the forum and I can start working on it.
-
UFC 80 turned out to be a difficult card for bettors, 3
underdog winners. A championship won by a favorite.
Winning favorite % dropped from 75%. $100 bet on each
underdog will have earned you a $30 profit for the night.
Still tough to make money picking dogs.
-
UFN 12 was a night of favorites, which is always the case
for the TUF and UFN events. The only underdog to hit
the board was only +135. $100 bet on each underdog
hurt you to a tune of -$665!
-
UFC 81 was a big night for the underdogs, with 4 winners.
A slight (very slight) trend towards underdogs has brought
the overall percentage to 26% winner for the dogs.
Check yourself, still no big prices hitting the winners
circle, 2-1 or lower is the range. $100 bet on each
underdog would have returned a $325 profit.
-
UFC 82 was back to business as usual. The favorites
dominated winning 8 of 10 fight, with only a couple of very
minor upsets. $100 bet on each underdog would have
cost you -$730.
-
UFN 13 added 5 underdog winners, but only the Irvin and
Maynard wins coming as big surprises. A slight trend
towards underdogs is occurring due to more quality fighters
and tighter matchmaking. $100 bet on each underdog
would have earned a $90 profit. Nobody over +200 hit
the board.
-
UFC 83 was pretty typical with a couple small upsets and
some big favorites coming through again. $100 wagered
on each underdog would have resulted in a $205 loss for the
evening.
-
UFC 84 - another typical betting event. Dominated by the
favorites with a couple minor (very minor) upsets. $100
wagered on each underdog would have cost you $640. On
the other hand, if you had bet a croaker on each favorite
you would have seen a $193 profit.
-
UFC 85 was a huge day for the dogs. Underdogs have
done well recently, raising their overall win ratio from 25%
to 27%. $100 bet on all the dogs would have returned a
profit of $680. $100 bet on all the favorites would
have cost you a $593 loss.
-
TUF 7 was another good day for underdogs. There is a
big trend of underdog winners happening right now, which has
dropped the favorites' historical win percentage from 75% to
72%. TUF 7 was full of evenly matched bouts which
contributed to underdogs win total.
