Drew McFedries made
his MMA debut at Extreme Challenge 43, where he was defeated by Nathan
Quarry via TKO at 3:03 in the second round. After his Extreme Challenge
loss, McFedries hopped around from the UCC, to Shooto, and back to Extreme
Challenge.
McFedries made his
UFC debut at UFC 65: Bad Intentions, where he defeated Alessio Sakara
via TKO at 4:07 in the first round. McFedries suffered his first UFC loss
at the hands of Martin Kampmann at UFC 68: Uprising, when he was submitted
via arm triangle choke. McFedries next UFC fight yeilded a better outcome,
when he defeated Jordan Radev via KO (punch) just 33 seconds into the
first round.
Drew McFedries
is possibly the most dangerous striker in all MMA. On the other hand,
he has shown to be extremely vulnerable when taken down. He should be
considered a threat to any fighter that "stands" in front of
him. "Big Bombs" is a must-see fighter, anytime he enters the
ring it's all out excitement.
