Rankings Notes for Sept. 26th
- Alistair Overeem
continues to climb the Heavyweight MMA Rankings with his dominating
No-Contest against CroCop. Overeem seemingly has his shit together
and fits better in the heavyweight division.
- Gegard Mousasi vaults
his way to #3 after impressively winning the Dream Middleweight Tournament.
Mousasi showed his all-round ability by beat a top striker (Manhoef)
and top submission fighter (Jacare), both ranked opponents.
- Hayato
Sakurai, Yoshihiro Akiyama, and Aoki stay put. All three won fights against
solid opponents, but not enough to move them past the fighters ahead
of them.
