WEC 36 is set for September 10th. WEC Superstar Urijah Faber once again takes on the latest version of his toughest test. Mike Brown is highly regarded by some in the MMA community, but Faber has looked untouchable recently. WEC brings out the best in everyone, including Frank Mir, so why not Brown?

WEC 36 odds will be released on Monday, Sept. 8th, but look for Faber to be a 3 to 1 favorite to retain his WEC featherweight title. Brown is a solid fighter who's gathered a world of experience during his career, but will he be a great underdog opportunity or just another money-burning longshot? Faber's popularity will keep his odds high and most serious bettors will shy away from him, looking for more profitable opportunities on the card.

One of those opportunities will be presented in the Chael Sonnen v Paulo Filho rematch. Sonnen completely dominated the heavily favored Filho in the first bout, but got lazy. Filho's vice grip latched on and he secured an armbar, Sonnen pulled an R Kelly and claimed he didn't tap. Instant rematch.

WEC 36 is a chance for Filho to get his act together, despite his recent poor performances and personal "issues" Filho is still highly regarded by most MMA experts. Filho will be a sizable favorite again. If think Sonnen can finish the job this time or doubt Filho has regained his focus, then this will be a great betting opportunity.
